The Clay County Arts League produces the Summer Sizzle in the Park Concert Series in July.  Every Thursday night in July, the Lineville Recreation Park Bandstand comes alive with musical sights and sounds. Free to the public.  Don’t miss these great summer events in Clay County, Alabama.

Music Lineup

July 7th Patriotic Night featuring Ryan Robertson, Roger Hammett & friends with a special fireworks display after dark.

July 14th Jazz Night. Enjoy the meloidous sounds of Talladega’s own Heritage Hall Jazz Band under the direction of Jeff Wood.

July 21st Country Jam Night with special appearances by Roanoke native Tim Dugger and Clay County’s own Kevin Moon & The Outlaw Justice Band.

July 28th The Gospel Hour, Clay County Style featuring the best local Gospel singers from all over Clay County.

Place Your Summer Sizzle Fan Ads SPACE

Art Camp Kids will be “artfully” decorating approximately 600 fans to be distributed at this year’s SUMMER SIZZLE performances.

For only $25 you can have your name, address and phone number displayed on the reverse side of the fans.  Each ad will be displayed in a 2″ x .5″ block.

There is  space for 27 ads on each fan.  This will not only benefit you as a patron, but will enable the children to have their art work on display, help the audience to ward off the July heat, and aid the Arts League in off-setting some of the entertainment expense for the fabulous performances for this year.

About the Clay County Arts League

The Clay County Arts League meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:30 pm at the Ashland Water Department Office on Hwy 9, next to the Post Office.  The Clay County Arts League is open to ages 14 and up.  Membership fees are $25 for Adults and $15 for teens or 30 hours of community service.  Our organization coordinates many events which take place in the county.
