Mary; Glad to see a magazine trying to get started up in Clay County. As you may know, I have been writing articles for the competition (The Lake Wedowee Magazine), but it seems to be closing up shop. Also, I wrote articles for the Sunrise Region Sampler Magazine before it closed up shop a few years ago. If the new magazine needs articles applicable to Clay County, I have some and can wirte more on Clay COunty History and nature. Also, I would like to see you add a short section to the web site on books written about Clay County. I have all of them (only 6 or 7) and could write you a brief summary of each and how to acquire them. I think such an addition would be appropriate for the web site. Let me know what you think. Don East.
