The Theme for the October Photo Contest was “Fall-Autumn”. The winning photo is by Lawana Barkley of a fall setting at a lake in Barfield, Alabama. For winning, Lawana receives a gift from Momma’s Candles in Lineville, AL. Momma’s Candles is the exclusive sponsor of our monthly Photo Contest in 2009.
The theme for the Photo Contest for November is “Beauty & Wildlife”. Clay County is well known for its scenic beauty so get outside and start shooting. Take your wherever you go in Clay County and capture some great photos and send them in to the Chamber. Email your photos to claychamber@centurytel.net.
Please submit images that are as large as possible, the ideal size being 800 pixels or larger on the longest side. Please include your name, address, email address, a description of your photo, where taken, exposure information, equipment used, etc. Overload us with info – the more the better.

Clay County Alabama and the surrounding area has some very talented photographers. In addition, Clay County Alabama is just plain scenic and beautiful. So, we decided to create a place on our website to highlight both the talented photographers of the area and the scenic beauty of Clay
County Alabama. Each month we will choose a winning photograph and award a prize to the photographer. Get your cameras out and let’s go shooting! We will also feature on this page many of the photos submitted each month.
The November Theme is “Beauty & Wildlife” – so start shooting those wildlife photos and submit them today!
