NEP Agent Assistant I

The Alabama Cooperative Extension System Nutrition Education Program (NEP) Agent Assistant I will serve in Clay and Talladega counties. The Agent Assistant will be housed in the Clay county office. The Agent Assistant will be responsible for conducting a nutrition education program with eligible, limited-resource participants. The NEP Agent Assistant will report to the County Extension Coordinators in the two designated counties; receive initial and continuous training from county and state staff; follow NEP guidelines; utilize NEP nutrition procedures; follow established guidelines as required by State and CSREES/USDA; assist with routine office work; and perform other duties as assigned.

Wellington Seeks to Fill 125 Jobs in Kellyton

The Michigan-based automotive supplier announced its plans to locate in the Lake Martin Area Industrial Park in Kellyton in July of this year. The company is accepting job applications for multiple positions while the building is being completed. Wellington is still accepting applications for positions at the plant, which is expected to create 125 jobs once it is up and running and invest $8.9 million into the local economy.
